Its all about the Cats
Our main mission is supporting the stray, feral and abandoned cats in the Myrtle Beach area.
That support would be impossible without the caregivers.
That support would be impossible without the caregivers.
I quit my full time job and started my Myrtle Beach home inspection business in 2017 and to keep money coming in as I grew the business I did what a lot of folks do and drove for Uber. As an Uber driver you spend a lot of time parked waiting for riders. I was parked in Hurl Rock waiting for a rider and I saw this skin and bones cat looking at a bird in a tree way out of her reach and the look on her face just killed me. I went to Walmart bought some cat food and started feeding her every day at the same time. It didn't take long before I was feeding all the cats at Hurl Rock and two other locations. That first cat I named Girlfriend. The picture of her on the right was taken before she was spade, vaccinated and ear tipped. She was also back to a normal weight. Girlfriend disappeared & I later found her body in a parking garage. Last time I saw her alive she almost let me pet her.

Its also about the Cat Caregivers
Being a caregiver brings a lot of joy but it is also a burden. Its not just a financial burden, most caregivers are supporting the colonies out of pocket, but also a burden of time. That includes daily feedings, TNR & medical attention when possible. The task is huge & once you start you can't stop. That is why we decided to form an organization that would also support the caregivers who support the cats.
